jan, it was so awsome. she must have been a perfectionist. everything was just done perfect. you almost couldn't tell she had seams. except for the change in colors. and it just amazed me the multitudes of colors and prints they had back then.
all these reproductions we got, were truely close. i wondered about some of those prints we got. but she had them in her quilt. i stood and looked, and looked, and walked and looked at grandma moses paintings, and her families. i almost couldn't walk after i got done., but then my new little dog, is making me walk her. so hopefully she will get house trained. while we are in the motor home.

That would be so neat to see her original quilt.

What kind of new doggie do you have? I love dogs and they will keep you moving that's for sure. Enjoy your motor home and where it takes you!

i got a 2 yr old Female, chiw/pekinese mix. 8 lbs. house trained. ha, ha, ha. female. needs to be fixed. but soooo sweet. it's nice to have a small one. we had an 85 lb lab mix before. lost him at 14 yrs. she's doing pretty darn good now. there was a good link on here about housebreaking. and i think it was just the change in houses, and the manner of getting her out. i think she likes to be loose, and free to do her stuff instead of on a lease. day 4 in the motor home. and close, close to me.

We have a designer dog too. the little gray one in my avatar is a Chonzer, half Bichon and half Schnauzer! They are such fun!! You will have to put a pic of her on here for us.

News flash.....I got second place in the extra large pieced catagory at our quilt show. There were 47 other entries in it. I was so pleased. Oh it was on my DJ! We had 350 quilts all together. There were about a dozen quest quilts from another town and there was one DJ. I took a pic of it.

Second place ribbon. The club always makes the ribbons with a small sq. They are all different.

I forgot to mention it took the quest DJ 6 + years to finish her DJ. I would have been there too if it weren't for you ladies. Thank you all!!!

Congratulations Jan   I can only imagine how thrilled you are with your DJ. I keep saying I am going to start, but I am addicted to AOTH and I have 2 other quilts to make for family members. I am DETERMINED to make a DJ. Maybe 2012 will be the year.
